SISHOON KA SAAG

INGREDIENTS
 
  • Sishoon ( Bichu Ghaas / Kandali ) : 1 Kg
  • Jakhiya : 30 – 40 Gms
  • Red Chilly Powder : As Per Taste
  • Asafoetida (Hing) : 2 pinch
  • Salt : As Per Taste
  • Oil : 15-20 Ml

COOKING TIME

 

  • Total Time : 30 – 45 mins
  • Preparation Time : 10 – 15 mins
  • Cooking Time : 25 – 35 mins
  • Servings : 4

COOKING PROCESS

  • Wash Sishoon( Nettle Leaves ) & Chop them finely.
  • By taking the pot and boiling some water in it. Then we’ll add Sishoon & once boiled, wash them with fresh water. Repeat this process for 2 – 3 times.
  • Grind these leaves in a mortar & pestle until it forms a paste.
  • Heat the pan, add Jakhiya & red chilly powder. Now add this paste & let it cook for 15 – 20 mins.
  • Add Salt as per taste & stir it.
  • Your Sishoon ka Saag is ready. Garnish it with butter & fried red chilies.
