Founded in 2018 by Team Myor Pahad, We have come a long way from its beginnings in Almora. When Team Myor Pahad first started out, their passion for “Back to the Roots” with the help of Local Farmers and with concept of Reverse Migration which drove us to start their own business.
A description of the charismatic beauty of Uttarakhand would be incomplete without the mention of people who inhabit this blessed State – simple, willing to help and hardworking people of the state are as diversified as the elements of nature. Several indigenous tribal groups peacefully co-exist with others, simultaneously keeping their distinct cultures alive. Apart from being a unique tourism destination, Uttarakhand is a goldmine for anthropologists, historians, ornithologists, linguists, geologists … you name the discipline and the state has something on offer.
But in the past few decades, due to various reasons like livelihood/employment, Water, education and medical facilities, Locals have migrated in huge numbers to other parts of India and even abroad. The Villages have become Ghost village and the lands have become barren. And to the ones who decided to continue, the terror of wild animals & water is making them change their decision.
We at Myor Pahad came out with the Profit sharing model and planned to adopt few villages to start off with and with all their hard work will be able to establish the Brand Myor Pahad (Our Hills). We are currently live on most of the ecommerce sites and shortly would be going live on Retails stores. We are majorly working on reviving the local products and their authentic flavors. We wish to someday make Uttaranchal a brand name when it comes to local/medicinal herbs and abundant natural recipes for seasoning and protein rich chemical free pulses and soybeans. This will help the reverse migration and giving the state its deserved respect.
