KAFULI / KAAFA

INGREDIENTS
 
  • Spinach ( Palak ) : 3 Bunches
  • Fenugreek Leaves
  • ( Methi ): 1 Bunch
  • Green Chillies : 5 – 6
  • Turmeric Powder : 1 Tbps
  • Garlic Cloves : 10
  • Ginger : 1/2 Inch
  • Coriander Powder : 1 Tbps
  • Yoghurt : 5 Tbps
  • Asafoetida (Hing) : 2 pinch
  • Salt : As Per Taste
  • Mustard Oil : 15-20 Ml

COOKING TIME

  • Total Time : 30 – 45 mins
  • Preparation Time : 10 mins
  • Cooking Time : 25 – 35 mins
  • Servings : 4

COOKING PROCESS

  • Wash spinach ( palak ), fenugreek leaves (methi ) & Chop them finely.
  • By taking the pot and boiling some water in it. Then we’ll add methi, palak and chopped green chilies for added flavor. 
  • Remove the ingredients from flame and blend it in a blender.
  • Chop ginger and garlic.
  • Take the pot & on medium flame, add the oil. Now add garlic, ginger, cumin seeds and asafoetida. Mix well.
  • Then add blended Puree, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and enough water to the pan. 
  • Add the yoghurt in the mixture & let it cook for 20 mins & your Kafuli is ready to be served.
