PALAK KI DABDI
INGREDIENTS
- Spinach ( Palak ) : 2 Bunch
- Wheat / Gram Flour : 1/2 Cup
- Ginger Garlic Paste : 2 Tbps
- Jakhiya : 1 Tbps
- Cumin Seeds : 1/2 Tbps
- Onions : 1
- Red Chilly Powder : As Per Taste
- Asafoetida (Hing) : 2 pinch
- Rice Flour : 3 – 4 Tbps
- Salt : As Per Taste
- Oil : 15-20 Ml

- Total Time : 30 – 45 mins
- Preparation Time : 10 – 15 mins
- Cooking Time : 25 – 35 mins

COOKING PROCESS
- Wash Spinach ( Pala ) & Chop them finely.
- Add the spinach in a pot with boiling water & let it cook for 4 – 5 mins & once done, let it cool off.
- Grind the boiled spinach leaves to puree.
- Heat Oil in the Pot, add hing, jakhiya, cumin seeds, diced onions.
- Once the above turns golden brown, add ginger garlic paste & stir for 2 – 3 mins.
- Now add diced tomatoes and again stir for for mins.
- Add the spinach puree to the above mixture & keep stirring it. Add the Turmeric, red chilly & rice flour.
- Add 1/2 cup of water to the above mix & let it cook for 10 – 15 mins.
- Your Palak ki Dabdi or Kaafa is ready to be served.
