MEETHA BHAAT

INGREDIENTS
 
  • Pahadi Red Rice – 1 cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1/4 cup
  • Diced Cocunut – 1/4 cup
  • Water – 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery – 1/2 cup

COOKING TIME

 

  • Total Time : 30 – 45 mins
  • Preparation Time : 10 – 15 mins
  • Cooking Time : 25 – 35 mins
  • Servings : 4

COOKING PROCESS

  • Wash and soak the red rice for 20 – 30 minutes.
  • Drain and keep it aside.
  • Heat the water in a pan and add Jaggery.
  • Once the jaggery has got disolved, add the red rice.
  • Cook until the rice is soft. Garnish with Cashews & Coconut. Your Meetha Bhaat is ready to be served.
