KAKDI BADI KI SUBZI
INGREDIENTS
- Kakdi Badi – 250 gms
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Chopped Garlic – 4 to 5 cloves
- Ginger Green Chilly Paste – 2 tsp
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Wheat Flour – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 6 tsp
- Chilly Powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Water – Per Requirement

- Total Time : 30 – 45 mins
- Preparation Time : 10 – 15 mins
- Cooking Time : 25 – 35 mins

COOKING PROCESS
- Heat 3 tsp ghee in a pan and fry badi over medium flame until golden on both sides.
- In a cooker, heat remaining 3 tsp ghee over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and saute until brown in color and fragrant.
- Now add chopped garlic & Onion and saute for 4 – 5 minutes.
- Add in ginger – green chili paste, fry until onion turn golden brown.
- Add wheat flour and roast over medium flame until flour turn deep brown in color.
- Once flour is roasted, add enough water to make curry, salt, spices and fried badiyaan.
- Let it simmer over low flame till curry thickens and badiyaan gets cooked for 25 – 30 mins.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with rice.
